They're stackable, they come in thicker or thinner styles...I just think this artist has completely gotten everything right with her designs. They can be cool or romantic...just about any look or feel that you want!
Posy rings (as the British Museum names them) were popular between the 15th and 18th centuries as wedding and engagement rings. They'd have romantic sayings on them or short poems. The British Museum has a pretty extensive collection of them. I saw them there when I was in London and was in love with them from the start. I have several reproduction posy rings, in fact! I was so in love!
But I just love these modern versions. Create funny romance (instead of gooey romance), or just funny rings! Or choose a romantic saying that has a special meaning to you and your loved one.
I also really like that she made a pair of "42" earrings...the answer to life, the universe, and everything. Maybe that's what I'll put on my posey ring. :)
